Even when you’re driving as safely as possible, another driver slamming on their brakes or rear-ending you can ruin your day. Holidays such as Halloween can be especially dangerous. Luckily, Allstate Insurance just shared its list of the 19 most dangerous stretches of road in U.S. cities.

These aren’t just the roads with the most Allstate Insurance accident claims. They’re specific areas of the country’s 50 largest cities where Allstate’s Drivewise app records the most aggressive speeding and sudden, dangerous braking.

10 of the most dangerous urban roads in the U.S.

Note that all of these stretches of road sustain heavy traffic. But in addition, most are near busy interchanges and exit ramps where absentminded drivers may change lanes suddenly or slam the brakes.

Normally, aggressive driving behavior peaks on weekends—specifically, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Fatal car crashes peak on Saturdays. But with Halloween falling on a Friday night this year, Oct. 31 will be a good day to be especially cautious behind the wheel.

Brian Tidwell, a safety expert with Allstate, warns, “Halloween weekend brings out costumes, candy and, unfortunately, some risky driving behavior.”
