The new optional ‘stormy grey’ cabin pairs an embossed ARTICO man-made material with a high-grade ‘Mirville’ textile – a premium blend of linen and recycled polyester that looks and feels like a natural fiber. Don’t worry; it still features Maybach’s signature deep white piping and open-quilted diamond stitching on the door panels.
To highlight those materials, the cabin is wrapped in an advanced Active Ambient Lighting system featuring 199 individual LEDs. You can choose from 64 colors, including Maybach-exclusive hues like Rose Gold White and Amethyst Glow, which dynamically respond to your voice commands and climate adjustments.

Mercedes is fully leaning into the digital age by debuting the highly anticipated Mercedes-Benz Operating System in a Maybach for the very first time, backed by a dedicated water-cooled supercomputer designed to handle massive processing loads.
- The Superscreen: The dashboard is dominated by the MBUX Superscreen, stretching massive displays beneath a single sheet of glass, complete with Maybach-specific rose gold graphics and a 3D instrument cluster.

Because buyers in this tax bracket do not like seeing identical cars at the country club, Mercedes is pushing its MANUFAKTUR Made to Measure program to the extreme. The bespoke catalog now offers over 150 exterior paints and 400 interior color combinations. If that is not enough, buyers can use a new digital visualizer to build a true one-of-one vehicle, picking from historic Mercedes paint codes and virtually limitless stitching colors.
Effortless Power (Yes, the V12 Lives)

- S 680: In Europe and other key markets, the top-tier S 680 utilizes a heavily revised, electrified V8 (M 177 Evo) pushing out a massive 603 hp (450 kW) and 626 lb-ft of torque, aided by a mild-hybrid system. However, purists can rejoice: in select markets, the legendary V12 remains available.
- S 580: The standard V8 model gets a healthy bump to roughly 530 hp (395 kW).
- S 580 e: A plug-in hybrid inline-six variant will also be offered in certain markets, providing around 62 miles (100 km) of pure electric range for silent city cruising.
To make sure you never feel a single bump while that engine is working, the new AIRMATIC air suspension uses predictive damping. By pulling real-time Car-to-X cloud data from other Mercedes vehicles on the road ahead of you, the suspension literally prepares itself for potholes and uneven pavement before your tires ever touch them. Toss it into the dedicated ‘MAYBACH’ drive mode, and the entire chassis tunes itself exclusively for supreme, uninterrupted ride comfort.
