The SUVs that made this list include subcompact, compact, mid-size, and large SUVs. All of these SUVs come recommended by CR and received a 5 out of 5 rating for predicted reliability.

Most reliable subcompact SUV of 2020

Subaru Crosstrek

The Subaru Crosstrek is the CR highest rated subcompact SUV. It’s overall score of 85 combined with a road test score of 87 puts this small SUV at the head of its class. The 2020 Subaru Crosstrek has a price range of $22,145-$35,145 and gets the best mileage on this list (along with the Mazda CX-3) with an average of 29 miles per gallon.
