Images of the Jeep Compass hybrid just got leaked

Someone might be in trouble for leaking images of the Jeep Compass Hybrid before its scheduled reveal. According to CarScoops, the images have been traced to a Brazilian website called Quatrorodas

The 2026 Jeep Compass has a brawnier style with boxier edges and squared-off rear end. It looks like the face of a Jeep Grand Cherokee was put on the front of a slightly larger Jeep Renegade.

Plastic cladding protects the wheel wells and the bumpers have shorter overhangs. The Compass might be better for off-roading to make up for the hole left by the discontinued Renegade.

Also, it appears to be available with a variety of powertrains. The E emblem bayside some of the badging may indicate a fully electric model. However, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and gas powertrains are expected to arrive as well.

The interior flaunts a modern design with leather trimmed seats, storage shelves, a massive sunroof, ambient lighting, and accent stitching.

Rumors suggest that the images show a rugged Compass TrailHawk model and only a few of the powertrain options will be available with all-wheel drive.

Production of the next-generation Compass is expected to start in Italy by the end of 2025. Then the North American models will be built in Canada in 2026. However, tariffs may force Stellantis to adjust its plans.
