You wouldn’t believe it so here are pictures of a Lamborghini Urus SUV in a tree. Yes, the driver lost control and this is where he and his $200,000-plus orange Lamborghini ended up. How could this happen? Was he a bad driver or was it a DUI?

Here’s how this happened: DUI

Driving under the influence. That’s how it happened. An early morning blast through the bar section of Hollywood resulted in this crash on Selma Ave.

The bars in California close at 2 AM. This happened around 2:20 AM. As the Los Angeles Police Department so aptly put it; “high speeds + drunk driver + 2 am in our bar district” is “a combination that could’ve led to an extremely tragic outcome.”

The crash and DUI resulted in no serious injuries to the driver and two passengers

Fortunately, the driver and his two passengers were not seriously injured. But they were traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver was arrested then and there. 

Brian Humphrey with the Los Angeles Fire Department said the injuries were not serious enough to require hospitalization. This is according to the Daily News. It’s a sad end to this Urus. 

Fines, legal expenses, totaled car, loss of driver’s license, it can get expensive

And a sad ending for this driver. He’ll pay a healthy fine, expensive legal fees, his Urus is totaled, and he’ll probably lose his driver’s license for some period. And it should never have happened.

With Uber or free taxi service in some areas for bar patrons, this is a no-brainer. You don’t need a designated driver. You only need to carry the Uber or Lyft app on your phone.  

Get a ride, save your Lambo and your life

Even if the ride costs a few bucks, it doesn’t even register in comparison to what happened here. Yes, it could have been much worse, but the chances of it even happening were zero if he’d caught a ride home. Really, it’s easy and cheap. 

This won’t be either. So next time you’re out drinking, please remember this orange Lamborghini Urus stuck in a tree totaled. Then get someone to pick you up.
