Hollywood actor Kurt Russell revealed on The Jonathan Ross Show that he reported the Phoenix Lights Unidentified Flying Object phenomenon while flying his aircraft back in 1997. The Phoenix Lights were witnessed by thousands of people and have remained a mystery to this day.
The Phoenix Lights have gone down as one of the most unexplained phenomena in history, viewed and documented by people gathered in large numbers. It all happened when a massive triangular craft appeared in the night sky and shone its lights on March 13, 1997.
While that was one sighting, another sighting that people reported was a series of bright, stationary lights hovering above Phoenix. To this day, there has been no conclusive evidence to prove what the lights were or if the craft in question was man-made or not. The aerial phenomena spanned an area of 300 miles from Nevada through Arizona.

Kurt Russell, who had a pilot’s license, was flying down from Los Angeles and was on approach to land at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, when his son, Oliver, pointed at the Phoenix Lights, questioning if everything was okay.
Russell, who didn’t know anything about the lights, got in touch with the air traffic control to check if they had anything on the radar. The reply was negative, and it was at that moment that it occurred to him that he was witnessing UFOs.
Six years later, while at home, he came across a TV show that spoke about the Phoenix Lights. Coincidentally, they revealed a pilot’s conversation during the flight, which made Russell realize that he was the pilot being spoken about. His identity was not revealed.
This prompted him to check his logbook, but there were no details of it. He then rang Oliver to ask if he still remembered the incident after all these years, but the answer was no. The show’s host, Jonathan Ross, told him, “Your memory had been wiped!”
Russell confirmed that he remembers the incident, but he never thought about it in all these years, as if nothing had happened, a point that he finds “weird.”
