Ken Block’s rally career is the stuff of legend

Rally racing isn’t Block’s only success. In 1993 Block founded DC Shoes with college classmate Damon Way. Block has since left the business, which is now one of the most popular brands in the U.S.

Moreover, Ken competed in multiple extreme sports, including snowboarding and skateboarding. His experience at DC prepared him to launch the popular automotive apparel line sold under Hoonigan Industries.

Block’s Motorsports career started hot and never cooled down. He placed 7th in the first race he participated in. He would go on to place 5th in his next five races. Everything Block touches turns to gold.

Block and his 2002 WRX have had more than 15 minutes of fame. Block is famous for his viral hit series of Gymkhana videos. His expert perspective helps him capture every factor of this precision motorsport. Nitro Circus, Octane Academy, Ridiculousness, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Top Gear have featured the rally driver. 

This Subaru WRX STI is a work of art

Vermont Sportscar built this powerful and agile machine. A 2.0 L Group N-spec race engine roars under the hood. The active center differential 6-speed dog box transmission shifts seamlessly. You’ll find 15-inch Speedline wheels holding brand new BFG195/70r/15 gravel rally tires. Recaro HANS racing seats hug the driver for safety and comfort. 

The 2002’s exterior was updated to 2006 specifications and includes pieces of rally history. Monster Energy sponsor ads grace the freshly washed exterior. DC badging pays homage to Block’s other achievements.

Block’s Subaru broke some impressive records

In 2006 Block set a world record in this finely tuned Subaru. Block made it an incredible 171 feet in the aerodynamic rally car. After its flight, the WRX would go on to bring Block more success.

Later that year, Block took his first-ever overall win at the Rally of the 100 Acre Wood in 2006. He was behind the wheel of this Impreza. Consequently, this car means a lot to the rally community.

Block’s team prepped the car for sale

The Impreza is in top shape for its new owner. Block’s own rally mechanics performed a full fluid flush on the legendary WRX. The new timing belt won’t need to be checked for at least another 30,000 miles. More importantly, the fuel cell has been replaced as well for maximum safety.

Interested buyers must make an account with Wall Street Motorsports. After placing a bid, Wall Street Motorsport will place a hold on buyers’ credit cards for 3% of their total bid. The winning bidder will pay the full seller’s fee then begin claiming their new vehicle. The auction ends at 1:30 pm EST on March 3rd, 2021.
