The first Slate SUV might be here sooner than you think. A few models have already been spotted on the streets, hidden by camouflage. It will be the first electric SUV that starts at $25,000 if it enters the market before rivals.

The $25,000 Slate SUV is hiding in plain sight

Some drivers might be more excited about the $25,000 Slate electric truck. However, the Slate SUV EV deserves an equal amount of attention.

Many automakers such as Stellantis, Tesla, and Ford are racing to build electric SUVs that start at around $25,000. Jeff Bezos may help Slate get its model out first.

Slate already seems to be ahead of its rivals as its electric SUV has been spotted on the streets. It’s already being tested and drawing tons of attention while being covered in camouflage.

The compact SUVs are completely wrapped in advertisements for fake businesses. One model was covered in a purple wrap for Cry Share. A fake company that gives babies car rides to help them sleep.

Also, according to the Cat Thurrrapy wrapped model, Slate will be making a major announcement in a few hours. The site includes a countdown timer. A Harry Potter themed wrap has been spotted as well.

An official announcement will be made on April 24, so stay tuned. We could be hours away from seeing the boxy, electric SUV. Based on spy shots, the Slate SUV looks rugged and boxy like the classic two-door Ford Bronco or Chevy Blazer.

I can’t wait to learn about its range and power. However, I hope the Jeep Renegade EV arrives soon as well.
