Jeep 4xe Day is finally here. The event was created to showcase Jeep’s upcoming hybrid and fully-electric vehicles. The Jeep brand dates all the way back to 1941. Over 80 years later, the automaker is still producing some of the most capable off-road vehicles on the market, like the Jeep Wrangler. Jeep aims to fully electrify its lineup in the years to come, and 4Xe Day gives us a taste of the brand’s electric future via its upcoming SUVs.

The Jeep Wagoneer S is coming to shake up the midsize SUV segment

The Jeep Wagoneer S is a fully-electric midsize SUV inspired by Jeep’s Wagoneer nameplate. Jeep claims that the Wagoneer S can go from 0-60 miles per hour in about 3.5 seconds. That’s shockingly quick for an SUV of its size (no pun intended).

Jeep is using electric motors to give the Wagoneer S capabilities that are extraordinary for its size. According to the official 4XE Day video, the Jeep Wagoneer S will produce up to 600 horsepower and have up to 400 miles of driving range. These are impressive performance specs for any electric vehicle, let alone a midsize SUV.

The Wagoneer S has a bold exterior design that slightly deviates from the design language of its Wagoneer ancestor and incorporates more modern features. Jeep hasn’t disclosed any details regarding the Wagoneer S’ off-road performance, but expect plenty of torque and enough ground clearance to clear most average obstacles from the new fully-electric midsize SUV.

The Jeep Avenger is Europe’s first fully-electric Jeep SUV

The Jeep Avenger aims to achieve 400 kilometers of driving range or about 248.54 miles of range. CarBuzz claims the Avenger is even smaller than the Jeep Renegade subcompact SUV.

The Renegade is 167 inches long, 74 inches wide, and 67 inches tall, so expect the electric vehicle to be tiny. The Jeep Avenger will most likely be Jeep’s most affordable electric model in Europe because of its small size and driving range.

The Jeep Wrangler 4Xe opened up a new world of possibilities for the Jeep brand. The plug-in hybrid has been well-received. It proves the benefits of an off-road vehicle with a hybrid powertrain system. Jeep introduced the world to the idea of hybrid SUVs designed to tackle off-road trails. Now EV charging stations are being installed at off-road trails around the country and the world to charge up electrified adventure vehicles.

The upcoming 2024 Jeep Recon is similar to the Wrangler, but it wasn’t designed to replace it (just yet). The Wrangler continues to play an important role in Jeep’s lineup. It’s the brand’s best-selling model. The Recon is a small electric SUV that features fully-removable doors and windows. It has an available one-touch power top to really open up the cabin. Jeep boasts about the Recon’s off-road performance, so expect it to be just as capable, if not more capable than its ancestor, the Jeep Wrangler.
