Is a Fully Loaded Kia Telluride Worth the Price?

People love the Kia Telluride, even if they aren’t in the market for a large SUV. In fact, so many people love it that it’s hard to find something not to love about it. As a full-size SUV with three seats, it is one of a handful of vehicles that is spacious enough to fit all of your friends or half of your kid’s soccer team. It’s sporty enough to enjoy driving, unlike many of the typical ‘mom vans‘ that have dwindled in popularity over the years. Add in all of the bells and whistles, and the Kia Telluride could easily be categorized as a true luxury SUV, without the exorbitant price tag.

The Kia Telluride is one of the most popular cars

The Kia Telluride overall is already one of the best selling full-size SUVs, and it’s pretty clear why. In a market where there are only a handful of SUVs with third-row seats, the Telluride seems to offer something for everyone. The striking design of the front end, the comfortable interior, and the standard safety features are all great reasons why people love their new family SUV. If the base model is so great and so affordable, why pay extra to get one fully loaded?

A border-line luxury SUV

The Kia brand doesn’t exactly come to mind when you think of the words “luxury cars” but that doesn’t mean it isn’t one. While it may not be as high-end and expensive as say, the Lamborghini Urus, the Telluride offers every bit of luxury that cars like the BMX X6 do, with even more space. Pack on the extra features of getting one full loaded and you could easily debate that the Kia Telluride is a fully-blown luxury SUV.

If you aren’t convinced that buying one with all of the cool additional features is a great idea, you should check out the difference in price. The base model price for the Telluride starts at around $32,000 making it an incredible bargain for what you get. Add on all of the options and you can buy one fully loaded for around $50,000 still making it incredibly competitive, especially when you compare it to other luxury vehicles on the market with the same features.

What the fully-loaded options are

If we are talking about $20,000 just in options, they have to be pretty spectacular to justify them, right? After all, there are some new cars you can buy just for the difference in price. Not to worry, Kia has hit the nail on the head with all of the additional options. While you won’t be disappointed with the base model, the fully-loaded model gives the car everything you could want — well, within reason, this isn’t a Rolls Royce, after-all.

There are several package additions you can get for the Telluride, or you can combine them all of the ultimate SUV. Parents will love the addition of the car’s quiet mode, which focuses sounds and audio to only the front seats, or the diffusion air vents that help the second and third row seats heat up or cool down even quicker. Add on some luxury with the prestige package for the highest-quality leathers and materials.

Really, we loved the standard, base model Kia Telluride already for everything that it has to offer. It’s no surprise that it keeps getting better and better, and if you are looking for the ultimate family vehicle, this is the vehicle worth test driving. Getting space and luxury for the price of some average full-sized SUVs, and Kia definitely did something right with the fully-loaded Kia Telluride.
