Police officers get to celebrate finally making a huge bust in Portland, Oregon. A driver of a blue truck linked to Instagram fame. He went viral for doing dangerous truck stunts in a 1994 GMC Sierra while filming himself. 

Oregon man arrested for dangerous truck stunts on Instagram 

You may have seen videos of 33-year-old Oscar Burrell Jr. online. He has been linked to the keepingitlittlike06 Instagram account for posting videos of himself performing dangerous truck stunts. 

Burrell has been spotted in his blue 1994 GMC Sierra driving on the shoulder of Interstate 5 and doing donuts near the tennis courts of Peninsula Park. In some videos, he dances in traffic as cars speed by. Also, he would sit outside of the driver’s window while controlling his truck. 

Police officers found Burrell when he called to report a hit-and-run. One of the officers recognized him from his social media profile and called for backup to arrest him. 

According to KOIN, he was involved in a confrontation with another driver. Then the other driver allegedly side swiped Burrell while he was in the middle of the road and drove off. 

He was arrested on charges of three counts of reckless driving,  first-degree criminal mischief, and recklessly endangering another person. The other driver hasn’t been found. 

Police launched an investigation into Burrell in March with tips from the public, news, and media about his posts. Many drivers were afraid of his dangerous behavior. 

Burrell’s action caused concern about the safety of other drivers and pedestrians. Multiple social media users shared their experiences to help police officers with their investigation.
