Consumer Reports was careful to highlight the Toyota Tundra’s most common trouble spots. Per its data, owners of the 2020 Toyota Tundra experienced issues with the pickup’s paint and trim. Problems included paint fading, chalking, cracking, or peeling. The 2019 Toyota Tundra also had issues with wind noises, loose or cracked seals, weather-stripping, air and water leaks. While one would hope those issues didn’t stick around for the 2021 Tundra, they are certainly worth keeping in mind.

Despite these common trouble spots, the Toyota Tundra remains a favorite among pickup shoppers. According to Consumer Reports, 79% of Tundra owners would even rebuy the pickup. Though, that shouldn’t be all that surprising considering just how reliable the Toyota Tundra is.
