The base trim of the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport has a starting MSRP of $27,415. Base, Big Bend, and Outer Banks models are powered by a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine with 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

All-terrain 4×4 is standard across the entire lineup. Added traction and minimal wheel-slip give the Ford Bronco Sport the off-road capability of the Bronco. Also standard on all models and trims is Ford CoPilot 360, a suite of driver-assistance technologies, including pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking.

Interior features on all Bronco Sport models make traveling easier, like multiple small spaces to store gear and equipment. One highlight is the rear passenger seat that folds up to reveal a hidden compartment underneath, providing extra space in addition to the model’s rear cargo area.

Cost and features of the Badlands trim level

The Badlands model is a special edition of the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport with exclusive features. With an MSRP of $34,090, standard features include a 2.0 liter Ecoboost engine with 250 horsepower paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A unique, carbonized grille with a white Bronco logo sets it apart from other models. Meanwhile, the Badlands rugged exterior has 17-inch carbonized gray-painted wheels, all-terrain tires, and metal bash plates.

Badlands models feature an available advanced 4×4 drivetrain with twin-clutch rear-wheel drive. This combines with the vehicle’s G.O.A.T. modes (Go Over Any type of Terrain) to make the 2022 Bronco Sport more agile on loose earth. All models feature G.O.A.T. modes of Sand/Snow, Slippery, Sport, Eco, and Normal. The Badlands model exclusively adds two more modes, Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl.

Inside, the Ford Bronco Sport Badlands has a 6.5-inch color LCD instrument panel, an 8-inch touchscreen, a terrain management system with seven different modes, electronic automatic temperature control, and a voice-activated entertainment system. Sport contoured, heated front seats have an easy-to-clean cloth exterior. It has seating for five and 60.6 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded down.
