The Volkswagen ID.4 might not be the most famous electric SUV, but the 2023 ID.4 is the epitome of cost-friendliness. As Volkswagen Group‘s first EV in VW’s lineup released in the U.S., the compact SUV comes with plenty of customization options. The automaker offers the electric SUV in five trim levels—the Standard, the S, the Pro, the Pros S, and the Pros S Plus trims. Now that the 2023 ID.4 won the first-ever SEMA Award for Electric Vehicle of the Year, Volkswagen is seemingly headed for greatness. So, how much does a fully loaded 2023 Volkswagen ID.4 cost at the top trim with all the add-ons?

Volkswagen’s 2023 ID.4 Standard is among the cheapest EVs

The baseline trim of the ID.4, the Standard trim, is the cheapest 2023 ID.4 trim. Volkswagen offers the EV at an MSRP of around $37,495. Despite being the cheapest trim in the ID.4 range, the 2023 ID.4 Standard gives its owners decent value for their money.

MotorTrend reports that the 2023 ID.4 maintains all the 2022 ID.4’s features, including the IQ.DRIVE (Advanced Drivers Assistance Technology) suite with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot and rear cross-traffic monitoring, a lane assist keeping system, and adaptive cruise control.

Other exciting features of the 2023 ID.4 Standard include the ID.Light & Discover Pro Max: 12″ touchscreen navigation, 19″ alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, wireless charging & App-connect with wireless capabilities for compatible devices, and heated front seats.

Apart from price, the Chattanooga edition shrinks battery size and range. Both the 2023 ID.4 Standard and S trims come standard with a 62-kWh lithium-ion battery powering a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive powertrain.

The 2023 ID.4 Standard has a range of 208 miles and makes 201 hp. Aspiring owners willing to sacrifice the longer range find this offer exciting because they can save some thousands and still get the same 201 horsepower motor as the 2023 ID.4 Pro that boasts 275 miles of range.

The fully loaded 2023 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro S Plus is more advanced and more comfortable

The 2023 ID.4 AWD Pro S Plus is the top trim of the ID.4 series, available at a starting MSRP of around $53,995. This all-electric SUV has an 82-kWh battery powering an all-wheel drive powertrain making 295 hp and 328 lb-ft.

The 2023 ID.4 AWD Pro S Plus has an EPA Estimated Range of 255 miles and accelerates from 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds. While the 2023 ID.4 AWD Pro S Plus maintains all the features that come standard with the VW ID.4 series, it boasts multiple inviting features like 20″ alloy wheels, a black painted roof, silver roof rails and accents, Area View, heated rear seats, power folding door mirrors w/signature lighting, and a Climatronic® Touch three-zone automatic climate control system.

Volkswagen ID.4 owners can access multiple affordable add-ons, packages, and accessories

Volkswagen points out that some options or features might be limited due to the global supply problems influencing the auto industry. However, the 2023 ID.4 owners can still enjoy wide-ranging add-ons, packages, and accessories.

Volkswagen offers genuine OEM 2023 Volkswagen ID.4 Accessories and Parts, including floor mats, interior accessories, exterior accessories, cargo accessories, crossbars and attachments, and electronic accessories.
