2023 Nissan Frontier King Cab S

The base model of the 2023 Nissan Frontier is the Frontier King Cab S model, which starts at around $29,370 according to Nissan. The King Cab S comes standard in rear-wheel drive with a 310 horsepower V6 engine as standard equipment.

As for technology, the Frontier King Cab S comes with an 8-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto, as well as automatic emergency braking.

Other standard features for the S model include cruise control, USB and USBC charging ports, a push-button ignition, and remote keyless entry. A towing package can also be had, which gives you a massive towing capacity of 6,720 pounds.

Every trim level of the Nissan Frontier can also be had with a four-wheel drive setup as well if you need more traction out of your Frontier.

2023 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab PRO-4X

The top-of-the-line 2023 Nissan Frontier is the Crew Cab PRO-4X, which starts at $38,900 according to Nissan. Unlike the King Cab, which seated four passengers using two forward and two rear opening doors, the Crew Cab is a traditional four-door setup with two full-size rows of seats.

The same engine from the base model is available here in the PRO-4X, but with the PRO-4X model, the all-wheel drive system has evolved to now feature a shift on the fly four-wheel drive system, electronically locking rear differential, and steel fuel tank and transfer case skid plates.

The PRO-4X also has Bilstein performance shock absorbers, LED fog lights, a leather-wrapped gearshift, duel zone climate control, a larger 9-inch infotainment system, and a unique interior trim.

The PRO-4X may be quite a bit pricier than the base model, but this model is built for offroading, giving Nissan Frontier owners a true 4×4 option that can compete with the similarly-built Chevy Colorado ZR2 and Ford Ranger Raptor at a fraction of the price.

Are there any other packages available for the 2023 Frontier?

Even though the Nissan Frontier PRO-4X model is full of fantastic features, more features can be found in Nissan’s optional packages. The most basic add-on package you can get for your Frontier is the Technology Package, which adds adaptive cruise control, rear automatic braking, and automatic high-beam headlights, all for $990.

The Convenience Package adds a remote engine start system and a 360 surround view camera for $2,190. Another common addition is the Fender Audio Package, which adds a Fender premium sound system for $750.

The most expensive package you can add to your Frontier is the Premium Package, which includes the Fender premium sound system, power sliding moonroof, and leather seats for $2,790. No matter which Frontier you buy, you are bound to find yourself behind the wheel of a truly capable and modern midsize pickup truck.
