How much is the 2022 Volkswagen ID.4?

The 2022 Volkswagen ID.4 price starts at $41,955 for the Pro, which is the base model. You can get the ID.4 with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, according to Edmunds. If you choose the rear-wheel model version, you’ll get one motor that makes 201 hp. All-wheel drive increases that to 295 hp. The EPA-estimated range for the 2022 Volkswagen ID.4 is 280 miles.

In addition, the 2022 Volkswagen ID.4 comes standard with a whole bunch of safety features, such as:

  • lane keep assist
  • forward-collision mitigation
  • blind-spot monitoring
  • adaptive cruise control
  • front and rear parking sensors

The Volkswagen ID.4 Pro comes with a lot of features

Even though it’s the base model, the 2022 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro comes with a pretty good amount of things like DC fast-charging capability, keyless entry, and a heated windshield (provided you opt for all-wheel drive). It also has heated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a digital gauge cluster. In addition, the ID.4 Pro comes with a 10-inch touchscreen, voice control, and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The 2022 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro S adds even more, but it will cost you. The Pro S starts at $46,455, and the ID.4 Pro S with AWD starts at $50,135. The Pro S includes LED adaptive headlights and a power tailgate, as well as a panormaic sunroof and simulated leather upholstery. The front seats have a massage function and there’s a 12-inch touchscreen as well as adjustable floor panels for the trunk.

But there’s more!

That’s not all that you can get with the 2022 Volkswagen ID.4. The ID.4 Pro S also has illuminated exterior VW badging, letting everyone know which trim you bought. You can add the Graident package to the ID.4 bringing the total cost to $52,105. This will give you 20-inch wheels, a black roof, and silver accents, including roof rails.

There are more ways to customize the Volkswagen ID.4 to be exactly what you want, but some options will cost you. For example, choosing Kings Red Metallic adds $395 while a Protection & Convenience packages raises the price another $380. There’s nothing major to add to the 2022 Volkswagen ID.4, so get it fully loaded and it will still only cost you $53,665.

The 2022 Volkswagen ID.4 price is actually pretty reasonable for an electric SUV that has every option and feature that you could want. It also has a decent range and can charge fairly quickly (a DC fast-charging station can take the ID.4 from 0 to 80% in 38 minutes). All in all, the ID.4 is a good buy for anyone who wants an updated electric SUV that doesn’t sacrifice style or comfort. And with its fully loaded price being lower than some competitors, it’s a worthy adversary to many electric SUVs in its class.
