How much does a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

The base price for the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder is $33,680. For that money, you’ll get a 3.5-liter V6 engine that can make 284 hp. This is matched to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Pathfinder has okay gas mileage, getting 21 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. It can tow a decent amount, up to 6,000 pounds.

Yet that is far from the only Pathfinder you can choose from. There are multiple trim levels, including the S, SV, SL, and Platinum. Each of these is a step up in terms of included features and price. In addition, each trim level offers you the option to choose from 2WD and 4WD.

How much does the most expensive Pathfinder cost?

The most expensive 2022 Nissan Pathfinder is the Platinum 4WD. The price of this starts at $48,440, but you can certainly upgrade to drive that price up. The Pathfinder Platinum comes with 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and a second row that folds down. It also includes a moonroof, wireless charger, and 13-speaker premium sound system. In addition, the Platinum has a tow hitch with 7-pin wiring harness.

If you want to upgrade the exterior of your 2022 Nissan Pathfinder, you can change the color including a two-tone pearl tricoat/super black and scarlet ember tintcoat/super black which will each add $745 to the price of your Pathfinder. A pearl interior will cost you an additional $395.

The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder can be customized with accessories to really make it your own. A roof rack, a fork lift, and a frontloader. You can also add a cargo holder, blocks and stabilizers, a cargo net, and cargo package. There’s a high-end grille, bumper protectors, and door protectors. Adding on all of these accessories easily makes the price more than $52,000.

Is the Pathfinder reliable?

The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder gets a 2/5 for reliability from Consumer Reports. Consumer Reports says this prediction is based on the Nissan brand history as well as the previous Pathfinders. The 2019 and 2020 Nissan Pathfinders don’t have reliability ratings, but the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder has a reliability rating of 4/5. The 2017 has a 3/5. The 2013, 2014, and 2015 Nissan Pathfinders all get a 1/5 for reliability.

The brakes in the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder get a 1/5, as does the body hardware. In the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder, the body integrity gets a 1/5. The climate system in the 2017 Pathfinder isn’t great either, scoring just a 2/5 for reliability.

The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder is a more rugged and sporty version of previous Pathfinders, but it remains to be seen whether it will hold up better than those models have. The Pathfinder price is relatively affordable, though you can definitely upgrade to spend a little more and get a custom Pathfinder. If you’re considering the Nissan Pathfinder, you have a lot to think about before committing to the purchase.
