How Long Will a 2015 Cadillac Escalade Last?

If you are looking for an older Cadillac SUV, the Escalade might be a good option. The longevity of a 2015 Cadillac Escalade will depend on several factors, such as how well the previous owner maintained it, how others drove it, and even how many owners it has. The good news is that this Cadillac sport utility vehicle has the potential to last more than 100,000 miles, but keeping up with maintenance is the best way to keep your Escalade running.

The 2015 Cadillac Escalade has the potential to last more than 200,000 miles.

A recent iSeeCars study looked at two million cars, trucks, and SUVs sold for at least 10 of the last 20 years. SUVs topped the list, with many lasting 200,000 miles or longer with ease. On that list, the Cadillac Escalade ESV showed the potential to last 228,449 miles or more. The regular Cadillac Escalade had a potential lifespan of 224,782 miles.

While that doesn’t mean every 2015 Escalade SUV is going to make it past 200,000 miles with ease, it is a good sign. Many SUVs on the market won’t make it to 100,000 miles, even with proper care. That means routine maintenance like oil changes, coolant flushes, and a tire rotation or replacement yearly to ensure no issues pop up.

The study also found that the Cadillac Escalade is the second most reliable luxury SUV and has a high reliability score. More than 8% of Escalades on the road have reached 150,000 miles or more, which is much higher than the three-row luxury SUV segment at 2.2%.

Looking at the reliability of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, U.S. News gave it positive marks. The reliability rating was actually a main attribute noted in the review. J.D. Power and U.S. News gave the 2015 Escalade a reliability score of four out of five. The segment average is around three out of five, giving the Cadillac SUV an above-average grade.

However, Edmunds had a different take. The 2015 Cadillac Escalade only received a two-and-a-half star rating from the experts, and reviewers didn’t have positive comments to share. Some issues noted include massive depreciation, sunroof issues, and two people claiming it is the “worst car ever owned.” Take that with a grain of salt, but 30% of reviews gave the Escalade a two-star rating.

There aren’t many reviews on the longevity of the luxury SUV, but that doesn’t mean high-mileage versions are not on the road.
