What makes the 2021 Honda Passport one of the best SUVs for the money? U.S. News says the Passport has a strong engine, balanced handling, and a roomy cabin. The SUV has room for five passengers and comes in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel drive. However, this is no surprise. The Passport has won the Best 2-Row SUV for the money and the Best 2-Row SUV for Families in 2021.

U.S. News gave the Honda Passport an overall 8.3 out of 10 rating as far as the scores go. It received a 9.0 out of 10 for the critics rating and a 9.1 out of 10 for safety. The interior racked up a score of 7.6 out of 10, and the performance score came in at 7.4 out of 10. J.D. Power gave the Honda SUV a score of 80 out of 100 overall.

When it comes to safety, the Passport has passengers covered. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gave the Honda SUV the highest rating in five crash safety tests. It also received the second-highest rating in the “passenger-side small overlap front crash test,” U.S. News says. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the Passport an overall rating of five out of five. The SUV comes with popular safety features such as lane-keeping assist (LKA), automatic emergency braking (AEB), and lane-departure warning (LDW).

The 2021 Honda CR-V also made the list of best SUVs for the money

The 2021 Honda CR-V came in second on the U.S. News list of best compact SUVs. It also won the best compact SUV for the money award. The Honda CR-V has a spacious rear seat and cargo area, an upscale cabin, and noteworthy fuel economy. Like the Passport, it has room for five passengers. Honda offers the SUV with both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel drive.

The overall rating for the Honda SUV was 8.8 out of 10. 9.5 out of 10 from the critics and 9.7 out of 10 for safety are the important scores. Plus, J.D. Power gave the Honda a score of 79 out of 100 overall.

Most importantly, the CR-V received a five-star safety rating from the NHTSA. The IIHS gave it the highest score in all six crash tests. However, the headlights could use some improvement. The SUV comes with popular safety features such as forward-collision warning (FCW), AEB and LDW.

The 2021 Honda Odyssey is another safe option

Are you looking for a minivan option? The 2021 Honda Odyssey does it all. U.S. News says it has a roomy cabin with space for seven to eight passengers, plus a large cargo area. The minivan comes with a long list of standard safety technology and many child-friendly options. The Odyssey comes in front-wheel-drive only.

The 2021 Honda Odyssey won the best minivan for the money and the best minivan for families, which means it is a safe bet. U.S. News gave it an overall rating of 8.9 out of 10. The safety rating was 9.8 out of 10, almost a perfect score. J.D. Power gave the minivan a score of 76 out of 100 overall.

The NHTSA gave the Honda Odyssey a score of five out of five stars for the safety tests performed. The IIHS also gave the Honda minivan the highest score of “good” across all six tests. FCW, AEB, and LDW are all included.
