For 2022, the best full-size SUVs are the 2022 Ford Expedition, 2022 Toyota Sequoia, 2022 Nissan Armada, and 2022 Chevy Suburban. Here’s how much you’ll pay for each of them, and what you’ll get for your money.

Consumer Reports ranks the 2022 Ford Expedition first

The 2022 Ford Expedition is the number one full-size SUV, according to Consumer Reports, with an overall score of 73/100. The 2022 Ford Expedition should start at around $51,000. That’s for the base model 2022 Ford Expedition XL, according to Edmunds. The 2021 Ford Expedition XL starts at $54,570. This comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. It also includes a whole lot of goodies, like LED lights, a 12-inch touchscreen, and BlueCruise, which is Ford’s semi-autonomous driving system. This can be used on more than 100,000 highways in North America. The 2022 Ford Expedition XL also has a 4G wireless hotspot and keyless entry with push-button start.

The 2022 Ford Expedition also comes with a six-speaker sound system and is able to handle both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes Ford Co-Pilot360, which is Ford’s safety system. This includes automatic high beams, blind-spot monitor, and lane-keep assist. It also has automatic emergency braking. The 2022 Ford Expedition Max adds even more room, but will cost you. The 2022 Toyota Sequoia is Toyota’s largest SUV

That might sound like a lot, but it’s pretty comparable to other full-size three-row SUVs in its class. The Sequoia has several trim levels available, with the high-end Platinum price starting at $71,270. Trim levels in between those bookends include the TRD Sport, Limited, Nightshade Special Edition, and TRD Pro.

The 2022 Toyota Sequoia comes standard with rear-wheel drive until you hit the TRD Pro and Platinum levels, which include four-wheel drive. You can opt for four-wheel drive in lower trim levels, however. No matter which trim level you choose, you’ll get eight seats. you don’t have to worry about exchanging niceties for passenger space.

The 2022 Nissan Armada has an overall score of 55/100

Further down the list is the 2022 Nissan Armada, with an overall score of 55/100. The 2022 Nissan Armada base model S price starts at $50,745. This comes with a 5.6-liter V8 engine that makes 400 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque. This is matched to a seven-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. You can upgrade to four-wheel drive.

The Nissan Armada S also comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, a tow-hitch receiver, LED headlights, and power-adjustable front seats. It also comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a navigation system, and is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The 2022 Chevy Suburban rounds out the top 4 full-size SUVs

The 2022 Chevy Suburban has an overall score of 41/100, which isn’t great. The Suburban price starts at $52,400. There are a whole variety of 2022 Chevrolet Suburban trim levels to choose from, and packages to add on. The 2022 Chevy Suburban LS is the base model, and it costs $54,095. The 2022 Suburban LS comes with a 5.3-liter V8 engine that makes 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. That’s matched to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It also comes with four-wheel drive. You can also get four-wheel drive on the 2022 Chevy Suburban LS.

The 2022 Chevy Suburban LS also comes with LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 2022 Chevrolet Suburban also comes with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment screen and a whole slew of safety features including forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and lane keep assist.
