You’re undoubtedly already familiar with the 2022 Kia Telluride. It’s considered one of the best SUVs, if not the best, by many. As a relatively newcomer to SUVs, its domination of the market is impressive. Now Kia has updated its best-selling SUV for the upcoming model year, and info about it was just dropped. Here’s what the 2023 Kia Telluride price is likely going to be, and what you’ll get for your money.

How much will the 2023 Kia Telluride cost?

The 2023 Kia Telluride price is likely going to start somewhere around $35,000. That’s according to Car and Driver, which says that the new Telluride has a “well-rounded package with handsome styling and a bargain price.” Of course, that’s just a starting price, and with the variety of trim levels available – including two new ones for the 2023 model year – that price can certainly get much higher.

The Kia Telluride will have a new look for 2023. Kia says that it has updated the vertical headlamp and foglamps as well as the grille and bumper. In addition, there are new wheel designs for all trim levels, and three new color choices: Midnight Lake Blue, Dawning Red, and Jungle Wood Green.

There are two new trim levels for the Telluride

There are also two new trim levels available for the 2023 Kia Telluride, including the X-Line and X-Pro. These are both off-road versions of the Telluride, though there’s no word on pricing yet. The X-Pro model will sit higher than the X-Line, and include everything in the X-Line, plus more. Unfortunately for Nightfall lovers, that 2022 Kia Telluride trim level is no more.

The 2023 Kia Telluride X-Line will have 20-inch wheels, a unique grille design, and roof rails. It will also include body-colored door handles and X-Line badging. The 2023 Kia Telluride X-Line interior will also have special badging as well as color choices only available for the trim.

The X-Pro builds on the X-Line though it has 18-inch black wheels and 18-inch all-terrain tires instead. Its X-Pro-specific badging lets everyone know which Telluride you’re driving (if the black wheels didn’t). It also has a 110-volt charger and the ability to tow up to 5,500 pounds.

How does the new price compare to the 2022 Telluride?

The 2023 Kia Telluride price is slightly more than the 2022 Kia Telluride LX price of $32,790. Of course, Kia hasn’t officially released its pricing yet, so it’s possible it will be closer – or further – from the 2022 model year. The 2022 Kia Telluride has four trim levels that will be moving on to the 2023 Telluride, with the SX being the most expensive at $42,690.

Other new changes to the 2023 Kia Telluride include an upgrade in screen size from 10.3-inches to 12.3-inches and a full display mirror instead of a traditional rearview mirror. You’ll also be able to add on a power liftgate, if you’d like.

As far as a release date, we’ll be able to see the new 2023 Kia Telluride soon, in mid-to-late April of 2022. Its updates should make the Telluride even better than before, and help to reinforce its place at the top of SUVs.
