Hercules, Hercules: Rezvani Has a 6×6 Pickup Truck

Ever since the Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6, it seems quite a few tuners and customizers have had 6-wheeled pickup trucks on their minds. Brabus offers one; you can turn a Jeep Wrangler into one. Someone even converted a Smart car into a 6-wheeled pickup. And now Rezvani, the maker behind the apocalypse-proof Tank, is getting into it too, with the Rezvani Hercules 6×6.

As of this writing, Rezvani hasn’t released much info on the Hercules 6×6 besides a few shadowy shots. And to stop people from getting a closer look, the tuner has edited the shots to reveal “Nice Try” when you attempt to brighten the images. But here’s what we know so far.

Besides the 6 wheels and body-on-frame design, the Hercules also has suspension developed in partnership with Fox. There will also be a Military Edition with bullet-proof glass and armored body panels. And those are only the features Rezvani has revealed so far.

The Hercules, though, hasn’t sprung up out of nowhere. Motor1 reports it appears to be based on the existing Rezvani Tank.

The Rezvani Tank SUV is itself based on the current-gen Jeep Wrangler, Autoblog reports. Essentially, that makes the Hercules a 6-wheeled Wrangler pickup truck. This means it’s likely Rezvani will offer the Hercules with some of the Tank’s features.

The ‘standard’ Tank Military Edition, The Drive reports, comes with more than just bullet-proof windows and armored body panels. It adds things like a smokescreen, electrified door handles, gas masks, and both thermal and night vision. You can even outfit it with EMP protection, Motor1 reports.

Other options include auxiliary fuel tanks and batteries, power-retractable side steps, as well as Fox remote-reservoir shocks. And, being based on the Wrangler, it means the Tank has four-wheel drive, solid axles, and off-road run-flat tires. Plus, to help you see the trail better, it has a built-in auxiliary roof-mounted light bar. There’s even an optional tow package.

The Tank is also something of a luxury vehicle, Roadshow reports. Buyers can spec theirs with heated and cooled leather seats, a suede headliner, and a Focal audio system. There’s even a 7.9” infotainment touchscreen. And there’s one more option Rezvani offers that you won’t find in any production Wrangler.

The ‘base’ Rezvani Tank offers 2 naturally-aspirated engines. The standard is a 285-hp 3.6-liter V6. There’s also the option to upgrade to a 500-hp 6.4-liter Dodge V8. And recently, Rezvani revealed the Tank X, with a 1000-hp version of the Dodge Demon’s 6.2-liter supercharged V8.

Pricing and availability

As of this writing, Rezvani hasn’t released pricing for the Hercules. The Tank, with the V6, starts at $155,000. But the 1000-hp Tank X Military Edition, with all its tech, starts at $349,000.

For now, potential buyers can secure their spot on the waiting list for a $266 refundable deposit. Hercules deliveries are expected to start in the summer of 2020.
