Tom Felton is one of many celebrities who found fame in the Harry Potter franchise by portraying the loathsome Draco Malfoy. He has also appeared in films such as Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, Anna And The King, The Apparition, and TV shows like Murder in the First and The Flash. Felton has a love affair with cars and is the proud owner of several swoon-worthy autos, like his Ferrari 488 Spider.

Felton’s net worth

Felton’s net worth is an estimated $20 million, worth considerably less than his counterparts in the Harry Potter franchise. However, he has kept a mostly low profile doing Indie films instead of appearing in many big-budget films since his portrayal of Harry Potter.

In addition to acting, Felton is also a musician. He has an independent record label called Six String Productions. He has posted a few music videos on YouTube and released a few EPs and singles.

Since he began amassing his fortune early in life, his mother had the good sense to help him invest his money. According to The Things, she made some real estate investments on his behalf early on so he would have a nest egg as he aged. This turned out to be a good move because of Felton’s love for exotic cars with some hefty price tags.

Tom Felton’s impressive car collection

Being a young man with a lot of money, naturally, he spent some of it on things he wanted rather than needed. Much to his mother’s dismay, his love for cars led him to make a lot of high-dollar purchases on cars such as BMWs for his family and himself. His collection includes BMWs, a Lamborghini, and even a Ferrari.

Felton appeared at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London in his Lamborghini Urus. The Urus is Lamborghini’s first contemporary SUV, and it’s one of the most powerful SUVs on the market. It boasts a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine that produces 641 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque between 2250 rpm and 4500 rpm. It can also hit 60 mph in around 3.5 seconds from a standstill, according to the Italian manufacturer.

Tom Felton’s Ferrari got him in trouble

In early 2022, Felton earned a speeding ticket in his limited edition 2009 Ferrari 488 Spider worth more than $200,000. For perspective, this car can do speeds over 202 mph and clocked from 0 to 60 in only 3 seconds. Powered by a 3.9-liter V8 engine with a seven-speed automatic gearbox, it provides 661 hp at 8,000 rpm, and a maximum torque of 561 lb-ft at 3,000 rpm.

He was doing 46 mph in a 40 mph zone along the M4 in London. Not precisely a record-breaker at 6 mph over the speed limit. Even though his speed was not considered excessive, he landed three points on his license. Felton was also ordered to pay a £220 fine and £124 in court costs and fees in London.

As the Potter franchise that includes Draco Malfoy comes to a close, Felton seems to be more interested in making music than acting at the moment. However, exotic cars don’t come cheap. If he intends to add to his collection, he may consider taking on more acting roles.
