How long does it take to receive an order from Harbor Freight? One auto repair shop is asking — after waiting almost three months for a single delivery.

In a video with over 45,000 views, the TikTok account for the Northglenn, Colorado auto shop Accurate Automotive (@accurateautoinc) lays out their issue with Harbor Freight.

According to shop owner Alex Kacsh, an employee named Marquell decided to upgrade his setup with an order from Harbor Freight. Kacsh says that Marquell’s work in the shop has been exemplary.

“Marquell is, like, the perfect success story about coming in, adapting, learning, being a sponge, and wanting to invest in their career,” starts Kacsh.

Kacsh says that, in furtherance of his career, Marquell visited a Harbor Freight location and ordered a box and a hutch.

The problem? The order was placed at the end of November 2025. Marquell was told it would be ready in the first week of January. As of February 2026, the box and hutch still haven’t arrived.

“Harbor Freight, where the [expletive] is his box?” asks Kacsh

What Happened To His Box?

According to Harbor Freight’s website, truck shipping — which is generally required for larger shipments — tends to take between 10 and 20 business days.

When the video was posted, 55 business days had elapsed since December 1, 2025.

Other internet users have reported comparable shipping delays. On the Better Business Bureau website, one user reported ordering an item online that he later saw in-store. One month after ordering, the item had still not arrived. Others on the BBB website claim that they’ve experienced shipping issues like delays, cancellations, or apparent misinformation about their order.

Users on Reddit have also posted about long wait times for larger items.

In an email, Kacsh stated that there was no update regarding this specific situation.

“He was told his order was put into a different name and now it’s going to be another month, but this is the third time the story has changed,” Kacsh wrote. “Besides walking into the local store and asking what’s going on, there has been no communication from Harbor Freight.”

Why Are There Such Big Delays?

As for why this happens, no one is sure.

Given that users on Reddit have noted delays and long delivery times, it could just be standard for orders like these to, occasionally, take a long time to deliver.

However, there are also other possibilities. Some items could be backordered, introducing additional delays. If parts must be imported, they may be stuck in customs or awaiting additional shipments or processing. Finally, there could simply be a miscommunication between the various parties involved, which can also introduce delays.

For someone in Marquell’s position, it’s best to repeatedly reach out to the company’s customer support and escalate the issue. From there, the company will be able to determine the status of the order and potential solutions to the problem.

Alternatively, Kacsh suggests just not ordering from the company in the first place.

“We recommend if you can’t walk out of the store with the item, it’s best to not purchase, because the wait tends to be long and several times we’ve cancelled orders and went into a different direction,” he stated.

Commenters Say They’re Experiencing the Same Thing

In the comments section, several users claimed they were experiencing similar delays with the company.

“I had the same issue. took about 4 or so months with multiple changing of delivery date to finally get my box,” wrote a user.

“I’ve been waiting 6 months for my snap on hutch soooooo,” added another.

“I ordered four pieces from them to make up a box set. That was on Halloween. I am still waiting for it all to arrive,” stated a third. “My issue is that you cannot get a refund on the box until it arrives and you return it. They will not let you cancel the order and get your money back.”
