Grubhub Driver Uncovers a Hidden Cafe Inside a Texas Honda Dealership and the Internet is Divided

Food delivery drivers see some bizarre things while on the clock, but getting routed to a massive auto dealership just to pick up a burrito is definitely a rare experience. When a Grubhub driver named Hutch (known as @dhutch1988 on TikTok) received an order from a Honda dealership, he assumed it was a mistake or that a hungry salesperson had ordered lunch. Instead, he discovered a full-blown, mouth-watering restaurant operating right next to the showroom floor.

“Honda Is Killing It”

In a 59-second video spotted by Motor1, that has quickly gained traction online, Hutch walks his viewers through the surreal pickup at Honda of Fort Worth in Texas.

“Tell me why I’m on a Grubhub right now and they send me to the Honda dealership,” he says at the start of the clip. He jokes that he might end up delivering the food to someone who is actively buying a new Civic, saying, “Let me find out somebody about to get themself a Honda and I’m [going to] drop it out to him.”

As he navigates past the glossy new cars, he approaches a fully equipped eatery complete with a digital menu board. Visibly impressed by the culinary spread, Hutch lists off what he sees. “They got nachos. They got enchiladas. Stop playing with them, Honda. Chicken fried chicken.”

He praises the setup, telling his audience, “Honda is killing it. They got a whole coffee shop in here… Y’all need to up y’all game. I’m telling y’all.” Exiting the building with a freshly bagged burrito in hand, he tells locals to “pull up” and check it out for themselves.

The Secret Dealership Diner

The hidden gem Hutch stumbled upon isn’t a temporary pop-up. It’s called the Twin Creeks Cafe, and it has been slinging hot meals from inside the Honda of Fort Worth building since 2010.

According to the dealership’s official site, the cafe was created to provide a “convenient and healthy option” for West Fort Worth residents. This operation puts standard dealership vending machines to shame. Instead of stale crackers and bitter coffee, Twin Creeks operates six days a week, serving up everything from breakfast quesadillas and omelets to gourmet burgers and tenderloin steaks.

However, if you’re hoping the food is a free perk of browsing the lot, think again. When a curious TikTok commenter asked if the meals were complimentary, Hutch bluntly replied, “Hell no.”

Genius Marketing or Just a Trap?

Naturally, the internet was heavily divided on whether this cafe setup is a brilliant customer perk or a clever sales trap.

One cynical user joked that selling hot food is an easy way to sweeten the deal when trying to push a $40,000 vehicle. Another viewer theorized that the restaurant is simply a tactical move to keep dealership employees from leaving the property during their lunch breaks.

Some commenters offered stern warnings, telling others to enjoy the food but avoid buying the cars, claiming they were sold a “lemon” that broke down shortly after driving off the lot. However, loyal customers fiercely defended the business. One buyer praised the dealership as their “tried and true” spot, having just purchased their second vehicle there.
