You can upgrade to the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 250 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque for about $2k. This engine can tow up to 3,500 lb. Also, the Chevy Equinox can accelerate from 0 to 60 in 7.2 seconds. 

According to The Car Connection, the Chevy Equinox offers a smoother ride around town. This is because it has a MacPherson front suspension with coil springs to absorb impacts. Plus, the Chevy Equinox has switchable all-wheel drive, meaning you can turn it off to save fuel when you don’t need it. To add AWD to the Toyota RAV4, it costs about an extra $2k. 

Chevy Equinox and Toyota RAV4 Features 

The Toyota RAV4 has more cargo space in the trunk area and more cargo space overall, but the Chevy Equinox has more passenger room. If you have taller friends or family members, they will enjoy having more room to stretch out.
