Police are looking for a Georgia woman after running over her boyfriend

Police officers are searching for 36-year-old Lashundra Latese Jones for aggravated assault and criminal trespass. Allegedly, she used an SUV to run over her boyfriend and the incident was caught on camera.

Officers from the Albany Police Department shared that she also hit a fence and kept going to a local motel.

According to WSBTV, Lashundra’s last known address was in the 1300 block of E. Society Avenue. It’s unclear if she was staying in the hotel.

Also, officers didn’t release what type of SUV she was driving. However, it’s safe to assume that the front might have minor damage due to driving through a fence.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 229-436-8477 or the Albany Police Department at 229-302-0756.

There are a few different charges that Lashundra could face upon assault. The first is vehicular assault.

Vehicular assault occurs when drivers use a vehicle to cause harm or threaten another person. Vehicular manslaughter occurs when the person is killed. Plus, in many states, vehicular assault is considered to be a felony.

Typically vehicular assault charges are bundled in with other types of tickets, such as reckless driving. Reckless driving occurs when a driver uses a car in a way that shows reckless disregard for the safety of others.

It’s unclear if Lashundra’s boyfriend received life-threatening injuries. Sources don’t provide any information related to his identity or health.

Also, the incident was caught on camera and Lashundra is now evading arrest. So, it’s unclear if she was operating under the influence at the time of the incident.
