Buying an SUV for over $100,000 is challenging. It costs nearly as much as a small house in most areas, but it’s always questionable whether it will be worth it. For some people with no budget, SUVs at this price point are a no-brainer. However, if you’re budgeting and have to be sure of what you’re getting for this price, there are a few excellent options. Here are four $100,000 SUVs that are totally worth it, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Porsche Cayenne, BMW X7, and Cadillac Escalade.

SUVs for over $100,000: Why not buy a Porsche?

For many people, a Porsche is a dream car. However, it isn’t as often you hear someone talk about wanting an SUV from the automaker. We’re here to tell you that Porche’s largest SUV, the Cayenne, isn’t goofing around. It’s just as furious and luxurious as the cars you know and love, and only the highest trims come in above the six-figure mark. Unfortunately, Porsche only makes SUVs to seat five passengers, so if you require seven or eight-passenger seating, look elsewhere. According to Edmunds, the GTS, Turbo, and Turbo S E-Hybrid models cost more than $100,000.

The cheapest of the three is the Cayenne GTS, which starts at $114,550. It comes with a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine, producing 453 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, it gets 21-inch wheels, an air suspension with PASM, an adaptive rear spoiler, a Sport exhaust system, torque vectoring, a Sport design package, full leather upholstery, and Sport seats. This is all in addition to luxurious features from lower trims, like a panoramic sunroof, navigation, LED headlights, USB-C ports, a power liftgate, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and much more.

In addition, it’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.

Furthermore, it gets a plethora of unique features not found in the base trim. For example, 22-inch wheels, M sport brakes with blue calipers, M sport exhaust, an illuminated grille, rear-wheel steering, leather upholstery, soft-close doors, rear power window sunshades, infotainment gesture control, surround-view camera, automated parking system, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround-sound system.
