Ford is recalling over 394,000 vehicles for various issues, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). If you own a Ford vehicle, it’s important to check if your car is impacted.

F-Super Duty truck recall

The automaker is recalling nearly 295,500 F-Super Duty trucks due to a potential fuel pump issue. Biodiesel deposits can form on the pump drivetrain roller components. This can cause the high-pressure fuel pump to fail.

The affected models include:

  • 2020-2022 F-Super Duty F250
  • 2020-2022 F-Super Duty F350
  • 2020-2022 F-Super Duty F450
  • 2020-2022 F-Super Duty F550
  • 2020-2022 F-Super Duty F600
  • 2021-2022 F-650
  • 2021-2022 F750

Ford will fix the issue by updating the powertrain control module software. The fix will be free of charge. Owner notification letters will go out on January 13. You can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 for more information. The recall number is 24S78.

Lincoln Nautilus window problem

A recall has been issued for 47,818 Lincoln Nautilus vehicles from the 2024-2025 model years. These vehicles may have a problem with the automatic window reversal system. The system might not react properly when detecting an obstruction, which can prevent the window from reversing far enough.

Ford will recalibrate the driver and passenger door modules, and this will be done at no cost to owners. Notification letters will be mailed starting January 13. For questions, call Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. The recall number is 24C43.

2019 Flex, Fiesta, and Lincoln MKT battery defect

Ford is recalling 30,715 vehicles from 2019 due to a manufacturing defect in one or more of the high-voltage battery cells that can result in an internal short circuit and battery failure. A remedy is still under development. Owners will receive notification letters by February 3. For more information, you can reach Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. The recall number is 24S75.

Ford Escape and Lincoln Corsair were also recalled for a battery defect

A recall impacts 20,484 Ford Escape and Lincoln Corsair vehicles from the 2020-2024 model years. The high-voltage battery cells in some of these vehicles have a manufacturing defect that could cause an internal short circuit and battery failure.

Ford will perform a software update to the battery energy control module (BECM) and replace the high-voltage battery pack if needed, at no cost to owners. The first notifications will be sent out on January 20. For questions, call Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. The recall number is 24S79.

If your vehicle is part of any of these recalls, Ford says it will take care of the necessary repairs or updates at no charge. Be sure to check the NHTSA website for a full list of affected vehicles.
