Ford is bringing tons of custom vehicles to the 2021 SEMA show this week, but the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E by the Austin Hatcher Foundation that’s based in Chattanooga, Tennesse, is a custom model with a mission

Instead of only showing off cool new accessories with parts from aftermarket companies, it’s helping families battle pediatric cancer via occupational and diversion therapy programs.

The Austin Hatcher Foundation will run the Space White Mach-E that they designed and built at the 2022 Bonneville Speed Week. They hope that it will reach 200 mph, which would definitely get attention.

After the event, the custom Mach-E will be auctioned off to support the foundation’s nationwide operations. The highest bidder will receive a unique, custom build while supporting a significant cause.

How is the Mustang Mach-E GT modded?

The Austin Hatcher Foundation 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT includes tons of exterior upgrades. The black vinyl roof wrap looks excellent, and the rear wing from Archetype Racing is an excellent touch.

Plus, there is a custom carbon front splitter, and the EV rides on 20-inch Rotiform E-159 OZR wheels. Red Brembo brakes increase stopping power, and an adjustable Motion Control Suspension enhances handling.

The interior includes Ford Performance Parts GTP seats, an infrared rearview dashcam, and a Ford Licensed Accessories DC Safety charge cord bag.

The stock Mustang Mach-E GT has a speed limiter, and the speed is limited to 130 miles per hour. The Austin Hatcher Foundation’s ride doesn’t have the speed limiter, allowing it to go much faster.

With the Mach-E GT’s 480 hp and 638 lb-ft of torque sending power to all four tires, it could fly. It will serve as the fastest Mach-E to date and could be faster than any Tesla so far as well.

You can get started with a 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT for about $59,900. This is the MSRP, so the price doesn’t include destination fees or dealership markups. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 3.8 seconds

The GT has an EPA-estimated range of 270 miles. The enhanced suspension setup sits at 0.4 inches lower than other models. It features 20-inch wheels that are wider and wrapped in 245/45R 20 tires.

You can spot the red-painted brake calipers that are paired with larger front brake rotors and adaptive magnetorheological dampers. GT badges are on the rear liftgate, and revised front and rear bumpers set it apart. The fark-finished grille includes illuminated pony emblems too.

The interior includes front sport seats with larger bolsters. The 15-inch vertical touchscreen infotainment system can be used to adjust your performance settings easily. With the one-pedal drive mode, you get maximum brake regeneration, but the Unbridled mode sharpens the drivetrain responses and enhances steering.
