The 2022 Ford Maverick has been one of the hottest small trucks on the market. It has been so popular that the Blue Oval has struggled to keep up with demand. Depending on which market you are in and if you can find a Maverick, you can secure a pretty solid incentive on your purchase.

What is the interest rate on a Ford Maverick?

Depending on where you are at, you can get a 3.9% APR on the 2022 Ford Maverick. This incentive for Ford’s small truck is offered in four major markets. Those markets include:

  • New York City
  • Detroit
  • Las Angeles
  • Miami

In the current market, being able to secure a 3.9% APR is a fairly good deal. Interest rates have been increasing in order to deal with inflation. And if you utilize Ford credit financing, that is something that you can take advantage of.

These Maverick incentives will last until November 30th, 2022. And according to Ford Authority, they don’t represent all of the incentives that Ford is offering to its compact pickup. Some disclaimers do apply to this deal. It’s largely for the United States, and residency restrictions apply. You might not be able to get other deals, and it is best to contact your dealer for details.

Is the 2022 Ford Maverick worth buying?

With the release of the 2023 Maverick, the 2022 model is still worth considering. It comes standard with a hybrid engine, or you can opt for the available EcoBoost engine. Plus, the 2022 Maverick is affordable, with a starting cost of around $20,000.

One of the downsides of the 2022 Ford Maverick is that you cannot get it with the Tremor package. The Tremor package makes Ford’s small truck a legitimate off-roader. It adds a one-inch lift and a revised all-wheel drive system. Depending on trim, you can opt for the FX4 Off-Road package. And for most light trail duty, that should be enough.

Are 2022 Mavericks available?

Depending on where you are, you might be able to find a 2022 Maverick at a dealership. Because Ford’s small truck is so sought-after, finding one is likely to be a difficult task. There are also reports of dealerships marking up this compact pickup. Simply because the demand is so high.

But, with Ford offering this 3.9% APR incentive, apparently, some dealerships may have 2022 Mavericks available. At the end of the day, this incentive may not help out that many shoppers simply because the supply is not there.

Many of those who preordered the Maverick are still in the dark about the status of their order. And that can be understandably frustrating. In fact, Ford has stated that some 2022 Maverick orders will be shifted to the 2023 model year. And that should tell you how bungled everything is around buying a Ford Maverick. In the future, the Blue Oval can figure out how to handle the ordering process around its small truck.
