The Ford Bronco Gives Dealers Money to Distract From Quality Issues

Ford has provided tons of options for these allocated funds. It can be spent on 2021 Ford Bronco apparel, rental vehicle coverage, maintenance plans, a bottle of the customer’s favorite alcohol, or discounted warranties to show appreciation for their patience.

Some 2021 Ford Bronco models are turning into 2022 models. The launch hasn’t exactly gone smoothly. Now suppliers are finding it challenging to keep up with Ford Bronco demand. But a new customer satisfaction plan is giving money to dealerships to smooth things out.

According to Ford Authority, a new Ford Bronco customer satisfaction plan will be in effect from September 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022. The plan provides funds to dealerships to help customers that are still waiting for their 2021 Ford Bronco

The program also assists customers who have already accepted the delivery of their hardtop Bronco but need their hardtop replaced due to quality issues.

Basically, the program allocates funds to eligible dealers through the Ford Co-Op program website based on the number of reservations that the dealer has converted into orders that are ready to schedule.

Eligible customers already have a reservation ID and order in the system. The order may be scheduled or unscheduled. The program also includes those who have accepted their delivery. It allows dealers to spend up to $1,000 per customer to improve satisfaction.

What can this $1,000 be used on?

Ford has provided tons of options for these allocated funds. It can be spent on 2021 Ford Bronco apparel, rental vehicle coverage, maintenance plans, a bottle of the customer’s favorite alcohol, or discounted warranties to show appreciation for their patience.

This is a little different from previous perks and gifts Ford has sent to Bronco order holders that face roof-related delays. For example, they provided reservation holders with 200,000 FordPass Reward Points.

The reward points are a little more exciting because they can be used toward the purchase of accessories. Ford also extended price protection on existing Bronco orders through the 2023 model year.

Customers of the Ford Bronco with a soft top get a new hardtop prep kit for free. It provides everything necessary to add a rear defroster, rear wiper, and plumbing for the rear washer if they decide to switch to a hardtop later.

What are the best Bronco accessories?

The 200,000 FordPass reward points made us wonder what the coolest 2021 Ford Bronco accessories are. The Yakima and Thule rooftop tents stick out as one epic option. Ford partnered with Yakima and Thule to craft the perfect rooftop tents for camping.

Also, if you get stuck in a pinch or find a driver that needs help, you can save the day with NOCO jump starters. The Bronco offers eight different NOCO portable power supply units to have on hand.

Plus, the Bronco offers front and rear-facing AMMP dash cameras. This wat you can record off-roading adventures and have detailed proof of what occurred during an accident. Some people capture pretty wild videos in traffic.

But these accessories might be a little more exciting if you had your actual Bronco. Ford is working to replace each hardtop and making the best of its limited semiconductor chip supply. Perhaps your wait will come with more free stuff.
