I’m no expert, so don’t come to me for legal advice. However, if you’re pulled over for a traffic stop, it’s probably a bad idea to speed away with a police officer in your backseat. One Florida woman took off in her SUV with a cop in her backseat, making things worse.

Florida woman flees traffic stop with a police officer in her back seat

33-year-old Victoria Musaev of Fort Lauderdale is behind bars after fleeing a traffic stop with a police officer and her daughter in the back of her SUV.

She was pulled over at the intersection of Livingston Street and Hughet Avenue because she failed to yield to the right of way to another driver.

Failure to yield in Florida can result in a fine of up to $500 and three to four points on your driver’s license. Sometimes it can result in having to go to traffic school or a license suspension.

But things got much worse for Musaev. According to Click Orlando, when police officers asked for her license, she didn’t have it. She shared that it was suspended and had been taken away.

An officer called dispatch to confirm her identity and learned that Musaev had a warrant out for her arrest for DUI.

She got out of her Ford Escape and was escorted to the police car to formally be arrested. But then she started to fight the cops and ran back to the SUV.

Musaev put it in drive and sped off even though a police officer was in the backseat with her daughter. She ignored commands to stop and exit the SUV as she took off.

Police officers followed her down Livingston Street and Hampton Avenue. She finally stopped at the intersection ofRobinson Street and Hampton Avenue.

She was placed into custody and taken to the Orange County Jail with additional charges such as resisting arrest. Musaev made her situation much worse.
