When Edmunds rated the quickest luxury SUVs, the 2019 BMW X6 M was the number one choice. Even though it is a bit less practical and more expensive than the X5, it certainly looks more aggressive. With 600 hp from the turbo V8 engine, the 3.8 second zero to 60 mph time makes sense. The X6 M Competition adds even more horsepower. Either way, a top speed of 189 mph is good enough to make the 2019 X6 M one of the fastest-used luxury SUVs.

Some of the best safety features include Active Blind Spot Detection, City Collision Mitigation, and Pedestrian Warning. These help alert the driver to vehicles in blind spots and automatic braking if a collision is imminent.

These safety features help keep everyone in the SUV safe, even if it does have more than 500 hp.
