Fargo man sits in subzero temperatures for hours to spot stolen truck
I don’t know much about Fargo, North Dakota. However, if it’s like the popular show, then it’s cold and the residents are tough. So, it shouldn’t be shocking that a man sat in -20-degree temperatures for hours, hoping to see his stolen truck.
Fargo man sits in the brutal cold to spot his stolen truck
When a truck is missing, there are a few potential outcomes. Trucks might not ever be seen again, could be crashed during a high-speed chase, might be parted out, or even spotted and returned to the owner.
One man, from Fargo, North Dakota is hoping for the best possible outcome after his beloved 1991 Nissan hardbody truck was stolen.
He left the Nissan truck running while taking groceries inside of his apartment. When he came back out to turn off the engine, the truck was just gone. Ironically, this was the second time one of his vehicles was stolen this way.
The man decided to set up shop on the side of the road to raise awareness about the stolen truck. He sat in a lawn chair for hours in -20-degree temperatures with a sign that said, “Last night my truck was stolen with all my possessions. Hope to see it here. Anything helps.”
According to KSJBAM, the truck has the man’s phone, snowblower, and shovels in the truck. He needs these items for his side business.
It’s unclear if police officers have any leads or if the man reported his truck as stolen. But the 1991 Nissan hardbody is a legendary ride, most likely packed with sentimental value.
