North Carolina Family Finds Blood of Missing Man in Truck
Y’all, I’m sorry that I have a true crime addiction! When I review cars, I’m always listening to murder podcasts. Then I find stories about trucks and crimes that pique my interest. This time, it hits close to home in North Carolina, where the blood of a missing man was found in a truck.
Blood of missing North Carolina man found in truck
Where in the world is Robert Grove? I hope he’s still alive, and my heart is with his family, who desperately need some answers. Racquel Jackson, Grove’s sister, called the police to report that he had been missing for days after not coming home on Sunday night.
Jackson tracked Grove’s phone to the apartment complex, where he doesn’t live. Then, a suspicious vehicle was reported at the Surrey Apartments on New Allen Road in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Grove’s family members found his Chevrolet Avalanche parked at the scene. They called a locksmith to open the truck and were shocked to discover that the front seat was covered in blood.
That’s when another call was made to the police, and investigators quickly arrived on the scene. According to WREG, the Chevy truck is seen arriving at the complex around 12:25 AM. Then left four minutes later and returned at 1:09 AM.
Some residents claimed they heard gunshots in the early morning hours. But there is no information about whether anyone was shot or transported away from the scene. Also, Homeland Security agents were present.
Investigators have been calling morgues and hospitals. They’ve been searching the woods and checking empty apartments. They haven’t found a single clue and haven’t had a Joe Doe come in.
