The 2023 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring is a compact luxury plug-in hybrid SUV

The 2023 Lincoln Corsair comes with plenty of updates for the new model year. It is smarter and more intuitive than any other Corsair model year. The Lincoln Corsair comes standard with a 13.2-inch infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. It includes the latest version of ActiveGlide (Lincoln’s version of Ford BlueCruise).

The new system allows hands-free lane changes on pre-mapped roads while traveling up to 80 miles per hour. The Corsair Grand Touring is a plug-in hybrid. It is related to the Ford Escape PHEV, but it doesn’t really resemble the small plug-in hybrid.

The Corsair Grand Touring is much more refined than the Ford Escape PHEV. It uses quality cabin materials and is more upscale than Ford’s small plug-in hybrid SUV model.

The Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring comes standard with two additional driving modes: Preserve EV and Pure EV. Consumers can also add a panoramic roof option. The 2023 Lincon Corsair Grand Touring starts at $53,385. It has an estimated 28 miles of electric-only driving range.

The 2023 Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring is a luxury plug-in hybrid midsize SUV. It is 199 inches long, 82 inches wide, and 70 inches tall. The Ford Explorer is 199 inches long, 79 inches wide, and 70 inches tall. The Explorer is the closest Aviator relative.

The Aviator Grand Touring comes standard with all-wheel drive. It uses a 3.0-liter V6 engine and an electric powertrain system to make 494 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque. The midsize SUV has an Air Glide suspension that provides a smooth ride quality. Edmunds calls its interior “supremely quiet”.

The 2023 Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring comes standard with ambient lighting, a blind spot information system, and a remote start system. It also includes rain-sensing windshield wipers, cross-traffic alert with braking, and a wireless charging pad. The luxury midsize plug-in hybrid SUV has 21 miles of electric-only driving range.

Ford is producing some of the best electric vehicles on the market between the Ford F-150 Lightning and the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Ford’s luxury division Lincoln is developing new plug-in hybrid SUVs to electrify its portfolio of vehicles. The future of Lincoln SUVs could be plug-in hybrid models as PHEVs and EVs become more common.
