Easter Jeep Safari proves that trucks are on the mind
The Jeep Gladiator has recently become a bit stagnant amid a sales decline. But Jeep could have plans to beef it up. During Easter Jeep Safari multiple trucks stole the show. Hopefully, we aren’t just being teased again.
Easter Jeep Safari is all about trucks
Sales for the Jeep Gladiator have been on the decline and perhaps Stellantis is finally deciding to do something about it. Easter Jeep Safari is happening now and trucks are stealing the show.
Most eyes are drawn to the Jeep J6 Honcho Concept, which is a single-cab truck. But Jeep can’t fool me multiple times. It has been presenting us with smaller truck concepts for years while trying to off-load unsold Gladiator models.
The Honcho is a simple build with Mopar accessories, a lift kit, chunky tires, and a six-foot cargo box. According to The Drive, it’s based on the 1970s Jeep Honcho.
Then the Jeep Bug Out 4xe is another two-door model with a massive cargo bed. It’s supposed to be an overlanding SUV concept, but just removed that roof panel and you have an open truck bed.
The Jeep Convoy is a concept that militarizes the Jeep Gladiator. It’s a four-door truck with a grille that pays homage to the original Wagoneer. It rides on 40” tires, has a winch on the front bumper, amber LED headlights, and a canvas cover over the back.
Also, the Jeep Top Honcho concept looks like a Gladiator with an appearance package. It has a retro style with a beefy front bumper and side rails on the bed. The white wheels wrapped in massive tires help it pop.
