While the Florida man is a wild creature, it does know how to love. Heartbreak can hurt, which is why you should stay home after being dumped. One man learned this the hard way after drunkenly wrecking his Jeep with cocaine after a breakup.

Florida man reacts to breakup by drunkenly wrecking Jeep with cocaine

A Florida man has plenty of time to reflect on his relationships from behind bars. 41-year-old Richard Ceballos was arrested when police officers found him in a drunken state of heartbreak.

Cabellos was on the road beside his wrecked Jeep Cherokee on West Atlantic Boulevard by a broken guard rail. He was lying down with the steering wheel. According to Tap Into, police officers shared that he couldn’t stand, his speech was slurred, and he smelled of alcohol.

Cabellos had bloodshot eyes and refused to attempt field sobriety tests. He refused to provide breath or urine samples. Officers also learned that he had a baggie of cocaine.

Then he was taken to Broward Health Control Springs for medical clearance. While sobering up, Cabellos explained that he was drunk and upset because his girlfriend dumped him.

He was charged with possession of cocaine, DUI with property damage, and driving with an expired tag. If only he would have stayed home with a gallon of ice cream and something to binge on Netflix.

Now after losing his girlfriend, he may have totaled his Jeep Cherokee. Plus, I’m assuming he has a lot of legal fees and fines to cover. This incident doesn’t make him seem like a good catch for the ladies, good thing cops caught him instead.
