Christmas time is upon us, which means it’s a great time to give the ultimate gift of a car or SUV to a loved one. Fortunately, it’s also the best time of the year to get the best lease deal possible on select cars and SUVS, so we put together a small list of five cars and SUVs that you could score a nice lease deal on this month.

The main list was compiled by Ari Janessian, a popular Youtuber and auto broker, who broke down the following lease deals. Keep in mind that these deals are assuming that you’re paying only the inception fees (first month’s payment, DMV registration, and other taxes and fees) with the allotment of 10,000 miles per year.

Nissan Leaf S

The Nissan Leaf has come a long way since its inception in 2011. It went from being an egg-shaped electric hatchback that could only muster up a total driving range of 80 miles, to being a more-aerodynamic all-electric hatchback that can now achieve up to 226 miles. Fortunately, it still holds its place in the electric car segment as one of the most affordable options, and considering you can get lease one this month for $182 per month plus tax, we think it will likely hold that place for a while longer.

Subaru Impreza Base Sedan

If you’re looking for an affordable compact sedan that’s more unique than your standard Civic or Corolla, then the base Subaru Impreza could fit the bill. With a host of standard safety features, a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system deeply rooted in rally racing, and a choice between an automatic or manual transmission, the base Impreza is a solid choice at $215 per month plus your local sales tax.

Mazda CX-30

The 2021 Mazda CX-30 is a small crossover SUV with sophisticated styling inside and out. The base model comes with a fuel-efficient, 186-hp 2.5-liter engine, LED headlights, an 8-speaker sound system, and a host of standard driver-assist features. Best of all, you can currently lease one for $238 per month plus tax.

2020 Honda CR-V LX AWD

If you’re looking for a compact crossover, then nothing beats the tried-and-true Honda CR-V. Even the base LX model comes with all of the amenities that you would need including the Honda Sensing suite of driver-assist features. For the month of December, you should be able to lease an AWD model for $274 per month plus tax.

Audi A3 Premium Quattro

If you need something a little more sophisticated, then the Audi A3 is a great compact car choice. With a well-appointed interior and a pristine fit and finish, the Audi A3 offers an upscale alternative to other mainstream cars like the Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla. Although, at $374 per month plus tax, it will cost you a little more than either of those cars. But it’s still a good lease deal.

Kia Sedona LX

Although it’s not a car or SUV, the Kia Sedona makes this list for being one of the most affordable minivans in today’s market. The base LX trim comes with all of the basic amenities that a budding family needs including a potent 3.3-liter V6 engine, Slide-n-Stow second-row seats, and dual-power sliding rear doors. For December, you should be able to find a Sedona LX for $374 per month plus tax.

Your mileage may vary

Just note that these great lease deals can expire at the end of the month, so it’s a great time to make a move now. Also, the prices shown here are not set in stone as they can fluctuate depending on your local area, the down payment you include, and your dealer’s stock.
