A social media video shows the aftermath of a high-speed wreck on a Texas highway outside of Dallas-Forth Worth. However, rather than leaving a couple of damaged vehicles on the side of the road, a crash between a white sedan and a classic pickup truck lit a couple of car fires and left a trail of flames.

A disastrous scene in the Dallas-Fort Worth area revealed a couple of car fires linked by smoke and flame

Let’s get one thing straight. You shouldn’t be recording video with one hand while you drive a vehicle. American drivers are distracted enough without an element of amateur video-taking. However, one Texas driver’s video revealed the wild aftermath of a fiery crash on Interstate 12 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

At first, the video shows a path of fire akin to the scorch marks left behind by the DeLorean DMC-12 in “Back to the Future.” However, as the footage continues tracking right, viewers can see that the row of flames leads up to a white sedan resembling a late-model Kia Optima. From the looks of the row of flames, it’s pretty clear that one of the vehicles was leaking fuel.

Unfortunately, the white sedan was a fully-involved fire by the time the cameraperson captured the wreck. With any luck, the occupant was able to get out before the fire consumed the car. Otherwise, the burning sedan was far from a survivable environment.

Further down the road, a rear-facing classic Chevrolet C10 pickup truck was also on fire with its headlights still illuminated. Flames were licking off the roofline, under the truck’s frame, and inside the rear wheel well above the tire.

As expected, commenters were less than scholarly or sympathetic with their responses. One viewer posted, “Nobody gives af about which highway it is, just pray everyone is good.” Needless to say, drivers hoping to avoid slowdowns skewered the original poster for the comment. Another snarky commenter joked, “You really can’t park there.”
