Costco members can save $10,000 on Volvo’s newest EV SUV
Being a Costco member, as many of us know, comes with some serious perks. Families can save by buying everyone’s favorite foods in bulk, individuals can save on clothes, outdoor decor, and of course, much more. But everyone can save on automotive supplies: microfiber towels, windshield wipers, motor oil, and tires.
However, if you’re in the market for a new car, Costco’s car buying program is notoriously stellar. If members were looking into leasing an EV, the commerce giant’s newest program can save $10,000 on a new 2025 Volvo EX90 EV—especially if they’re already Volvo owners.
If you’re a Costco Executive member, you save $2,000 right off the bat. Gold Star and Business members save $1,500 off the sticker price. Then, combined with a $500 discount for being a returning customer and the $7,500 lease incentive from Volvo, the savings total $10,000, according to Costco‘s site.
Since the EV starts at $79,995 and goes up to $90,640, saving up to $10,000 can go a long way to attracting customers. In case you missed it, though, these savings only apply if you lease the car. As of right now, the EX90 doesn’t qualify for the federal tax credit for purchasers.
Volvo isn’t the only automaker offering EVs through the program
The Volvo EX90 is arguably the most luxurious EV Costco offers through the member-only auto purchasing program. However, members can also save a decent amount on more expensive EVs like the GMC Hummer EV SUV.
Executive members can save $1,250 while Gold Star and Business members can save $1,000 on the Hummer. Though, the starting price of $96,550 and a max price of $104,650 doesn’t make the deal that attractive. Especially since it doesn’t qualify for the federal tax credit due to the price.
However, other (and more affordable EVs) are also being discounted, like the Chevy Equinox or Blazer. Executive members can save $1,250, and Gold Star ot Business members save $1,000 on either EV, which makes the little SUVs incredibly affordable.
The most expensive car being discounted until April 30 is the Corvette hybrid. Executive members get a sizable $3,000 discount, while Gold Star and Business members save $2,750.
