The electric Ford Lightning has dual electric motors that can put out up to 426 hp and 775 lb-ft of torque. You can upgrade to the highest level of the Lightning to get 563 hp. Ford says that’s the most of any Ford F-150 ever, which will certainly be a huge selling point.

Consumer Reports says that when the 2022 Ford Lightning has the extended range battery, it can go from 0 to 60 mph “in the mid-4-second range.” The extended range battery also gives you 320 miles of range, which should be more than enough for most people to drive at least a typical day without having to recharge.
