SUV owners just launched a new class action lawsuit against Hyundai over a massive brake issue
Hyundai has made significant strides in the industry to become a trusted brand. Now, the automaker has some of the best new cars on the market. However, there are no perfect cars, and it seems this might especially be the case for the Hyundai Palisade, one of the company’s top SUVs. Currently, there’s a class action suit being launched that impacted owners can still join over a massive safety issue. Currently, no car recall has been issued.
Hyundai has a new class action suit on its hands over one of its top SUVs
The Hyundai Palisade is one of the automaker’s best SUVs. This is one reason people credit the automaker for evolving. However, it has been known to have some issues, and the braking system might be a notable example. According to Top Class Actions, a new suit has been launched against the Palisade maker.
Specifically, the class action suit alleges that some 2023 and 2024 Hyundai Palisade models have issues with the anti-lock braking or traction control systems. Naturally, this is a massive safety concern as these issues could easily cause car wrecks if drivers can’t stop in time. In fact, many would say the brakes are the most critical safety component of a car.
Regarding the class action suit, the report says drivers have launched several complaints. In particular, some say the issue is most prevalent while driving at low speeds on uneven surfaces. Again, no car recall has been issued that would repair the problem. Lemberg Law LLC filed the lawsuit, seeking “damages and restitution for affected consumers.”
