Chevy Camaro Exorcist: Hennessey Upgrade Delivers Beastly Power
When demons possessed family members in the past, the exorcist was called in to expel them. Such power was the thing of legends and has become the name of Hennessey’s tuned-up high-performance version of the Chevy Camaro. Although the Chevy Camaro Exorcist began with a pretty amazing build, using the Camaro ZL1, it adds some serious speed and power to the mix.

If this power upgrade can’t exorcise demons from loved ones, they might be a lost cause.
How many Camaro Exorcist models were made?

Only 100 versions of the Hennessey-tuned Chevy Camaro were made in 2021. The Exorcist Camaro ZL1 celebrated 30 years of Hennessey making fast cars much faster. As a celebration, 30 customers received special anniversary versions of this high-performance muscle car.
How much does a Camaro Exorcist cost?
Recently, a Rapid Blue Camaro ZL1 with an Exorcist upgrade package sold for $160,000. If you’re also wondering whether or not Hennessey still builds and upgrades the Camaro to Exorcist specifications, this recently sold car is a 2023 version. With the end of the Camaro on the horizon, the small number of Exorcist versions will dwindle to oblivion.
Is the Camaro Exorcist faster than the Dodge Demon?

While not tested against the Last Call models of the Dodge Challenger, when the original Demon arrived, it was put against this Hennessey-tuned Chevy Camaro to see which was faster.
As CarScoops reports, the Exorcist had the upper hand right from the jump, hitting 60 mph in 2.1 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds faster than the Demon. The Chevy also reached 100 mph faster than the Dodge, hitting this market in 4.7 seconds compared to the 5.1 seconds required by the Demon. Without getting too cheesy, it appears the Exorcist did its job and sent the Demon away with its proverbial tail between its legs.
Some of the speed listings for the Exorcist are:
- 0-60 mph: 2.1 seconds
- ¼ mile: 9.57 seconds at 147 mph
- Top Speed: 217 mph
This is a seriously fast Camaro, meant to blow the doors off the competition and exorcise the demons within.
