Toyota offers two significant benefits that make it hard for other brands to beat. This automaker is well-known for its reliability and long-lasting vehicles. The key to its dependability begins with the engineers who are constantly testing and improving every part installed onto the vehicles. By addressing issues early, Toyota has a better chance of delivering a high-quality product to its customers.

The other benefit the brand offers is its resale value. Toyota has earned many awards in this same area. Kelley Blue Book lists not just one but five Toyota brand vehicles on their Best Resale Value Awards list. You’ll find the Camry, RAV4 Hybrid, Sienna, Tacoma, and Tundra there. Its reliability is the main reason why depreciation is kept in check.

Some of its vehicles are even stepping up the fuel economy game. Its minivan, the Sienna, now only comes as a hybrid, which allows it to offer a whopping 36 mpg. That’s at least 50 percent more than most of what its V6 models bring to the table.

When you’re out car buying, which Toyota sedan should you check out and why?

If you’re looking for an affordable car that gives you good fuel economy, this brand has just what you need. The cheapest Toyota is its Corolla sedan. Not only do you get plenty of fuel savings and an inexpensive price tag, but you also get a roomy cabin, lots of safety features, and Toyota’s reputation for reliability.

You won’t get much with it, though. It’s built for simplicity, which is what keeps it affordable. This model has been around for quite a long time, but this generation of the Corolla just debuted in 2020. The price for the 2022 version is only $20,075 to start.

Powering it up is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine for the L, LE, and XLE models. It generates 139 hp, which lets it get around 38 mpg on the highway. According to Kelley Blue Book, for the SE and XSE trims, you’ll get a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 169 hp. It’s paired with a manual transmission in the SE, which is standard. The XSE comes with an automatic.

You’ll also get 18-inch alloy wheels for the base trim. The LE has keyless entry/ignition, blind-spot monitoring, and a sunroof added on. The XLE comes with heated front seats, simulated leather upholstery, and wireless charging.

Toyota offers many great vehicles that are not only reliable but have excellent resale value as well. If you want the cheapest vehicle on its dealership lots, check out the Corolla. It has just what you need at an affordable price.

Which Toyota pickup sees the most car sales?

Is It More Expensive to Own a Honda or a Toyota?

One of the most popular vehicles from the Toyota brand is a pickup. The Tacoma is its midsize truck. It doesn’t get perfect scores from critics, but it’s one of the highest-selling models by the automaker. Consumers have a different view of the pickup. One that has them flocking to the dealerships to buy it.

Some Tacoma fans love this truck because it tends to last forever. While a good number of vehicles are lucky to make it to a few hundred thousand on the odometer, some pickup owners say their Tacomas lasted 400,000 to 500,000 miles.

It also offers some off-roading capabilities as well. If you purchase the TRD Pro package, you’ll get Toyota’s hill start assist, multi-terrain drive modes, and active traction control along with 9.4-inch ground clearance.
