New car prices are sky-high, however, you can still score a pretty good lease deal with certain automakers. For example, Honda is currently offering a few spectacular leases for the month of May. Here is the cheapest lease deal that you can take advantage of before Summer hits.

This month, Honda’s cheapest lease deal is for the 2022 Honda Civic Sport sedan. You can currently lease the Civic for only $209 per month (plus tax) and with $3,399 due at signing. It’s a 36-month term and allows for 10,000 miles per year. If you need more room, then the next cheapest least deal is for the 2022 HR-V Sport 2WD.

This deal also includes a monthly payment of $209 per month but has a slightly higher down payment of $3,799. This particular lease is also for 36 months and has a mileage allowance of 10,000 miles per year. One important thing to note is that both of these lease deals factor in a Honda Loyalty Award amount of $750, which is added to the down payment and is exclusively for current owners of 2012 or newer Honda vehicles. If you don’t currently own a Honda that qualifies, then you can expect to pay a little more each month.

There are lease offers on other Honda models as well

If the Honda HR-V and Civic aren’t big enough to suit your needs, then you can get a good deal on an Accord, Ridgeline, or Pilot as well. Honda has a special lease rate on the Accord Sport 1.5 for only $309 per month for 36 months with $4,399 due at signing. The beauty of this lease offer is that it doesn’t require the Honda Loyalty stipulation, so it’s welcome for all buyers. However, you can get a better deal if you currently own a 2012 or newer Honda.

There’s also a good deal on the Pilot 2WD for $359 per month with $5,399 due at signing. If you want an AWD Pilot, then you’ll need to put down $700 more. Lastly, if you would rather have the utility of a truck, but with smooth ride qualities, then there’s a deal for the Ridgeline RTL-E. This deal includes a monthly payment of $409 with $5,099 due at signing. Just like the other leases, the deals for the Pilot and Ridgeline include a 10,000-mile mileage allotment per year.

If you don’t want to lease, then there are financing deals as well

Considering the current state of the new car market, it’s surprising when automakers offer special financing deals. However, if none of the aforementioned lease deals sound enticing, then you can take advantage of the special financing rates from Honda Financial Services.

The lowest financing rate for May is for the Pilot and Passport, which each offer a 1.9% APR for up to 48 months. Every other Honda model, including the Insight, qualifies for a special rate of 2.9% for up to 48 months. If you want a longer-term, then you can expect to add an extra percentage point for up to 60 months and one more point on top of that for up to 72 months.

As always, these lease and financing deals are subject to credit approval and are for well-qualified buyers. It’s also worth noting that these offers and vehicle availability can vary by region. So be sure to check with your local Honda dealers for details.
