The cheapest Subaru models to insure include the Outback, the Forester Wilderness, and the Forester Sport. The 2022 Subaru Outback with a 2.5L engine has an average annual rate of around $1,407 nationally.

Finally, the Forester 2.5L Sport trim is slightly pricier to insure than the Outback, with an average insurance rate of $1,412.
