Car wrecks happen every day, and in addition to finding ways to increase safety, all anyone can do is hope that neither party involved sustained serious injuries. Recently, a driver in Florida lost control of her vehicle and crashed into an apartment complex and another car. Luckily, there were no critical injuries.

Car wrecks can happen for all sorts of reasons

According to WFLA, a 78-year-old woman was out and about in her Range Rover on February 6th in Pasco County, Florida. Things took a turn when the vehicle didn’t come to a stop when it was supposed to. Instead, it continued across an intersection and collided with a Ford van that a 21-year-old woman was driving.

As many car wrecks go, things didn’t end there. The Range Rover SUV then hit a rock wall as well as a tree. This caused it to roll over before coming to a stop. From there, the SUV hit the air conditioning units at a nearby apartment complex. It’s unclear how much damage this caused, but it shows how widespread car accidents can be.

As far as car wrecks go, this one didn’t have a ton of bodily harm. Both women were taken to a local hospital with what the report calls “minor injuries.” There is no mention of what led the Range Rover SUV not to stop. Naturally, it could have been caused by anything. Of course, the woman and her insurance company will have much to answer for regarding the damage to the apartment complex and the Ford van. This is a developing story.
