Michigan Speedway crash left multiple people hospitalized and several vehicles damaged
Car wrecks happen pretty often in all parts of the county. Many of them cause significant damage, but some are far worse than others. Recently, a crash occurred in Michigan at the gas station pumps at a Speedway. Multiple people are now in the hospital, some of whom have critical injuries.
This car wreck didn’t cause any fatalities, but it left behind a ton of damage and serious injuries
According to WWMT, the car wreck happened on the afternoon of March 19th at a Speedway in Kalamazoo on South Westnedge Avenue. The report says that a driver left the road while driving at a high rate of speed. Sadly, the person then crashed into one of the gas station pumps, which set off a bit of an unfortunate chain reaction.
The car wreck worsened when the driver also crashed into two motorcycles and two cars that happened to be at the Speedway. As mentioned, there were some serious injuries. One of the victims sustained critical injuries and was then taken to a local hospital. Another person on the scene went to the hospital in stable condition. The report doesn’t mention it, but one can also reasonably assume that the driver required medical attention.
Now, the cause of the car wreck is unknown. As a result, it’s also unclear what, if any, charges the person behind the wheel will face. There is an active investigation into what went wrong as car crashes happen for all sorts of reasons. Still, the good thing is that no lives were lost in this unfortunate accident.
